Welcome to Bridgwater TV, where you will be able to watch films and documentaries made by local people, but also indie films from around the world.
You do not have to register to use this website, but for certain sections, such as creating your list of films and to be able to continue watching later, you will need to create a free account by clicking the green Sign In button in the menu on most pages, and then selecting to create an account.
As things are new, and we know there will be work to be done on the website, there may be teething problems. We apologise for these, but unfortunately, this always happens with new websites, and there is more to this than many new sites. If you do run into a problem, please let us know about it, and we will see what we can do to fix the problem.
We have started with this selection of films, and will be adding to the films all the time.
If you are a filmmaker living in or around Bridgwater and you want to make a film, get in touch with us about your film being included on the website. There will be more information on this over the next few days, as well as information on our sit-down events on filmmaking for beginners (not so much a course, more a discussion event).
We have made the decision to bring Bridgwater Magazine over to Bridgwater TV, as we were going to have special sections on the films on the magazine website, and it made sense to do it all in one place.
We had already moved away from providing local news, with us instead looking at what is going to be of interest to local people, as well as supporting local independent businesses and letting you know what events are taking place – which isn’t much right now.
We have not been doing much on the Bridgwater Magazine website recently, due to us preparing this website to go live, but we will be doing much more as we move ahead.
The current look to Bridgwater Magazine (below) is temporary, and will be changing for the better very soon.
We want to hear from you, with your stories and events, so why not let us know about them. We are adding two new forms tomorrow, to make it easy to send us anything, but if you want to let us know before then, you can get in touch with us through our main website.
